A fusion workout that includes barre, yoga, & strength training to improve pelvic floor and core strength, diastasis recti, and help you lose the baby weight. This program is available in-person at our studio in Philadelphia, PA as weekly 60 minute sessions or online in either 30-minute video format or LIVE ONLINE sessions through our online studio.
Crystal, your postnatal fitness trainer is a mom, she understands what the postnatal period is really like. It’s not that quick, easy bounce back that we see in fitness magazines. It takes dedication, hard work, and time (which we know you don’t have much of at the moment!). In the studio at Y2B Fit, we’ll start out by testing for diastasis recti (ab separation) and use low impact pelvic floor and core exercises to help reconnect you to the proper way to activate these muscles for functional movement. As we work together, the intensity of your workouts will increase to include higher impact cardio, yoga, barre, and strength training.
6-week online program – Let’s jumpstart your bounce back after baby! We’ll work on reintegrating your connection to the core and pelvic floor muscles while keeping in mind the common postnatal issues such as diastasis recti (ab separation) as well as c-section and episiotomy scarring. We’ll also practice postnatal yoga to lengthen the chronically tight muscles after pregnancy. 12-week online program – Let’s jump-start and fuel your total bounce back after baby! We’ll begin by working on retraining the core and pelvic floor muscles while keeping in mind common issues such as diastasis recti (ab separation) and c-section or episiotomy scarring. The first 6-weeks will focus on postnatal yoga to lengthen the chronically tight muscles after pregnancy as well as safe core strengthening exercises. The second 6-weeks of the program will progressively intensify to include postnatal barre and strength training to sculpt the chronically weakened muscles during pregnancy. If you combine either of the online postnatal exercise programs with online health coaching, I’ll also help you to develop a nutrient-dense eating plan (no counting calories!) and provide ongoing motivational support via phone and email to help you reach your goals. 4-week Core Restore Series (LIVE ONLINE or in the studio)- This is a comprehensive live online 4-week series for mamas who are ready to reconnect with their abdominal muscles and help repair diastasis recti and other common issues. We’ll blend barre, pilates, stretching, and functional fitness into a full body workout.
This class is appropriate for all postnatal stages—whether six weeks, six years, or six decades postpartum!

Diastasis Recti is the separation of the rectus abdominis muscles (the outer layer of abdominal muscles that form the ‘6-pack’). Diastasis Recti is very common during pregnancy and the postnatal period. The abdominal muscles naturally stretch during pregnancy to accommodate for your growing baby—but due to many factors, the muscles may not fully close on their own after birth.
This 60-minute chat will include:
• Way to prevent diastasis recti during pregnancy + exercises you can do after birth to heal
• How to asses for it during and after pregnancy
• Learn exercises you can do to help heal diastasis recti if you have it
• Discover which movements + exercises you should AVOID to prevent worsening the gap
• Learn techniques to begin activating + engaging your tranverse abdominis (deep abdominal muscles) that run laterally across your waist
