Crystal, your postnatal fitness trainer is a mom, she understands what the postnatal period is really like. It’s not that quick, easy bounce back that we see in fitness magazines. It takes dedication, hard work, and time (which we know you don’t have much of at the moment!). In the studio at Y2B Fit, we’ll start out by testing for diastasis recti (ab separation) and use low impact pelvic floor and core exercises to help reconnect you to the proper way to activate these muscles for functional movement. As we work together, the intensity of your workouts will increase to include higher impact cardio, yoga, barre, and strength training.
6-week online program – Let’s jumpstart your bounce back after baby! We’ll work on reintegrating your connection to the core and pelvic floor muscles while keeping in mind the common postnatal issues such as diastasis recti (ab separation) as well as c-section and episiotomy scarring. We’ll also practice postnatal yoga to lengthen the chronically tight muscles after pregnancy. 12-week online program – Let’s jump-start and fuel your total bounce back after baby! We’ll begin by working on retraining the core and pelvic floor muscles while keeping in mind common issues such as diastasis recti (ab separation) and c-section or episiotomy scarring. The first 6-weeks will focus on postnatal yoga to lengthen the chronically tight muscles after pregnancy as well as safe core strengthening exercises. The second 6-weeks of the program will progressively intensify to include postnatal barre and strength training to sculpt the chronically weakened muscles during pregnancy. If you combine either of the online postnatal exercise programs with online health coaching, I’ll also help you to develop a nutrient-dense eating plan (no counting calories!) and provide ongoing motivational support via phone and email to help you reach your goals.
